Welcome to AAI
(AAI) Aboriginal Aerospace Initiative Inc. is a non-profit, organization with a primary mandate to recruit, train and ultimately retain 200 Aboriginal people for employment within the local aerospace and/or manufacturing sectors by 2012.
We do this by providing training programs in partnership with the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development (CAHRD), Manitoba Aerospace Human Resource Coordinating Committee (MAHRCC) and partner from the Aerospace Industry in Manitoba.
We are presently providing the following training programs:
Gas Turbine Repair and Overhaul Training Program, and
Level 1 Machinist training program.
The Aerospace Industry requires a minimum education level of grade 12. We partner with the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development; they provide upgrade and can help you obtain your high school diploma.
